Programme

Overview

The conference will start in the morning of Monday, 4 July and will end on Friday, 8 July around noon time. There will be a QCMC Award talk, 31 invited talks and 21 contributed talks of durations 60, 30, and 20 minutes, respectively (including Q&A). All talks will be held at the Auditorium 2, Stephen Riady Centre, University Town, National University of Singapore. Poster sessions are on Monday and Tuesday starting in the afternoon. Tours of local labs are offered on Wednesday afternoon. The conference dinner will take place on Thursday evening at 19:30.

The preliminary Program Booklet and Abstracts Booklet are now available.
Please note that, to save some trees, the organiser will not be printing the program and abstracts booklets.

Poster sessions

Poster sessions are planned for Monday, 4 July and Tuesday 5 July from 17:30-19:30 at the foyer area of the conference venue. Presenters are advised to put up their poster(s) in the morning and remove the poster(s) at the end of the poster session. The poster walls support A0 portrait format. There will be poster award and it will be announced during the conference dinner.

Visit to CQT

For participants who like to visit CQT, we offer lab tours at the Centre for Quantum Technologies on Wednesday, 6 July, 5pm onwards. Participants would need to sign up for this visit upon onsite registration.

Suggestions for Thursday afternoon

Would you like to explore Singapore on foot on your way to the conference banquet on Thursday? We have prepared a walking guide with some suggested routes taking in food, history or nature. All start with a local bus ride from the conference venue to locations near the dinner venue. We recommend that participants doing these tours take maps with them - postcodes are provided for GPS. Allow 2-3 hours.

Conference dinner

The location of the conference dinner is Keppel Hall @ Keppel Club, 10 Bukit Chermin Road,Singapore 109918. The nearest MRT stop is Telok Blangah on the Circle Line,from where it's approximately 1km walk to the venue following directions to Bukit Chermin Road. There is no dress code for dinner.
